Aftermath of rain in a crowded area  by Akinjidetayo(m) : 12:43 pm On Dec 06, 2018

Women selling cooked corn, roasted corn, Roasted Plantain(Boli), Fried Beans, Moin-Moin

Women trying to sieve water fetched from the roof

Traders making removing covers from their wares

Shop owners rearranging their wares

Mashy roads

Water trimming down

Children making paper boats

Children playing games of putting plastic or  any other object in a water to see which get to the a certain place

Men and boys avoiding the pitch for a while

Some boys and men taking the risk to play ball

Bikes and Bicycles falling from the mashy roads

Pot holes deeping.

Water from draining sipping away little by little

Nets for sieving dirts having more dirts than before the rain

Birds coming dotting the sky one by one

Animals moving out to their normal lifestlyes

People who had been drenched from being on the way seen returning home

People holding umbrellas to avoid being met on the way

People bring their clothes to spread again

Nylon and cover wrinkling as they are being removed from wares

An unexplainable silence

People's voice sounding distant as if their voices would start the rain again

Crickets noise

Frogs and Toads croaking

Birds chirping

Children resuming their noise

Mothers issuing warning to children

Dry coldness

Faint smell of rotten foods

A fresh smell of the environment

Sweet aroma of roasted things being sold

People have a sense of something new

A urge to be prepaid for its next appearance

An ominous feeling of it coming again

Desire for more of things

Desire to get something cold
